Neil Titley will introduce two short films to celebrate the Centenary of George Bernard Shaw receiving the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1926.

An Interview with Sir Michael Holroyd (1988) Directed by Neil Titley. Celebrated biographer Sir Michael Holroyd shares fascinating insights into Bernard Shaw's life.  Neil Titley interviewed him on completion of Holroyd's book The Search for Love (1856–1898) - Volume 1 of his epic four-part biography of Bernard Shaw  (30 mins)

Sir Michael is best known for his detailed life stories of famous people like Lytton Strachey, Augustus John, and George Bernard Shaw. He was awarded a knighthood in 2007. He is President of The Shaw Society and Honorary Patron of The Oscar Wilde Society. 

This is followed by Shaw’s Corner (45 mins).  Written by Neil Titley, directed by Antony Sellers.

The film has a powerful solo performance by Dermot Walsh as Shaw who appeared in the first production of Buoyant Billions, overseen by Shaw Himself.
