5th Annual Shaw Crawl

You can join the Shaw Society in person for a stroll through George Bernard Shaw’s FITZROVIA to celebrate his wit and wisdom on the 5th Annual Shaw Crawl The the theme this year : MORALITY & IMMORALITY.

The walk begins outside Shaw's Fitzroy Square home at 12 noon for readings and recitations. We will break for drinks & refreshments in Bloomsbury’s beautiful Bedford Hotel garden.

Then later in the afternoon at 2-30pm at The Bedford Hotel 83- 95 Southampton Row, London WC1B 4HD you can attend a lecture by Dr Philip Wilson entitled:

SHAW AND THE HORNS OF THE DILEMMA. This lecture forms the second half of the Shaw Crawl.

Philip will explore Shavian dramatic dilemmas with a focus on Major Barbara. Actor Alexis Leighton will read extracts.

This year if you are not able to attend in person, you can join us online Philip’s lecture will also be zoomed out live FREE of charge.
