A new production of Shaw's St Joan by Theatre dir­ector Stew­art Laing, which he describes as much more intim­ate in its size and sta­ging: He comments: “I was inter­ested to see if it would get closer to the heart of the story if we did it with a much smal­ler cast and place.. I wanted to do something more access­ible. Then I found an adaptation Shaw had written that was about half the length. It was a screenplay that was never made. That forms the basis of what we’re doing.” A Raw Material, Perth Theatre and Aberdeen Performing Arts Co-Production in association with Citizens Theatre, Glasgow.
