Finding Barry

As part of its 50th Anniversary Celebrations, Malvern Theatre Players return to the Festival Theatre to perform a play about Barry Jackson: designer, director, manager, writer and co-founder of the first Malvern Festivals. But who was Barry Jackson? How, after so many years, do you capture the truth about a man who was friends with Shaw, Elgar and many famous actors of the time.

Finding Barry is a light-hearted journey through the life of this fascinating man, and has been written to give as many members as possible of the Malvern Theatre Players, past and present, a chance to be involved and once again perform on the Festival Theatre stage.
