This will be a second visit to the ‘Yeats at Bedford Park Trail’.  Two years ago in April 2023, Helen and Lexi wrote in The Shavian how they “…had made contact with the two members of the founding committee of this wonderful resource – Torin Douglas who was the BBC media correspondent and Cahal Dallat, Irish poet, writer and musician and the prime mover and shaker behind the walk.  Cahal spoke to us about the campaign to fund and commission the beautiful sculpture placed in front of the church where Yeats worshipped. It glitters in the light and makes for an inspiring start to the walk.  Many are amazed that some of Yeats most famous poems were written here and there is so much for Shavians.”
